With the needs of performing on her great Monster Ball tour, recording a new album and being one of her generation's top stars, Lady Gaga has a lot on her plate - but she try and stays healthy by watching what she eats. A trained body doesn't come natural...
Since fainting during a concert in New Zealand earlier this year, Gaga has become a stickler for maintaining a healthy routine, according to her choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson.
"It's about salsa, grain chips, tofu, turkey slices, hummus and coconut water," according the choreographer, who is actually nominated for two MTV VMAs: Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Telephone".
But a girl like this simply can't put on a show on something like hummus alone.
"We'll have some toast with a bit of white wine!" says Gibson, who will premiere a Ryan Seacrest-produced reality show on E! by the end of November, of Gaga's pre-show ritual. So just who is the real Lady Gaga? Gibson, who choreographed the celebrity' videos for "Poker Face," "Love Game," "Paparazzi," "Bad Romance," "Telephone" and "Alejandro," says Gaga is a soulful theater star who has "become a lot more comfortable with her body and herself."
Gibson describes the pop star as a fearless woman and says her new music, which Lady Gaga has been recording while on tour, reflects that fearlessness. "She's going to take a bigger bite out of many things," says Gibson. "You're going to see a lot more of who she really is and what she can do."
